Your guests will love the striking beauty of our 10 acre property, the picturesque collection of early Texas buildings, and spacious, recently renovated Solms School that make your small events elegant and memorable. 

Rentals support the Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture exhibitions and educational programming.

Historic Solms school

Solms School, once part of the Historic Four Mile Creek School complex was built in 1907. Over the course of its life as a school it housed generations of New Braunfels students. It was moved to the museum grounds in 2006. Since that time, the building has undergone extensive restoration and rehabilitation in an effort to preserve the structure for future generations. The venue is available now for small wedding receptions, corperate events, and private parties!

the oak Grotto

Flanked on three sides with historic structures and bordered by breathtaking centennial Live Oaks, the oak grotto is an ideal place for your outdoor wedding ceremony.

Heritage Pavillion

Heritage Pavillion was constructed in 2002 and hosts restrooms, a caterers kitchen, and enough seating for 80-100 people.
